Each month I set a few goals. I try to pick something new and many are experimental in nature. For the second month in a row, I’m posting them publicly for increased accountability.

October Goals:

  1. Cut all red meat from my diet
  2. Publish 4 days a week

Cutting Red Meat:
In an effort to be more environmentally conscious, I will cut all red meat from my diet. I don’t expect this to be difficult, as I will still eat poultry and fish. I see this as an incremental step to set myself up for a tougher goal in the future.

Publish 4 Days a Week:
September had a busy end and I didn’t make the time to write. I actually have a growing list of topics to cover! I want to keep writing as a regular habit, so I’m setting a goal of 4 days per week. This is a reasonable amount I should be able to adhere to.

September Goals:

Here’s how I did on my September goals:

  1. Stick to my bed hours - SUCCESS
A poor start but a strong finish!
  2. Create and begin the curriculum for a self-taught MBA - FAIL
Never got around to it, tabling for a rainy day
  3. Maintain fitness during travel - AMBER
I maintained my weekly targets and walked a lot, but I didn’t actually work out while on the road
